Nominations are now open for the REIQ Awards for Excellence, the most anticipated annual event on the Queensland real estate calendar.
On 31 October 2026, the profession’s finest will gather together for our spectacular gala dinner at The Star Brisbane, celebrating the industry’s outstanding achievements.

About the awards
The REIQ Awards for Excellence provide a stage for the Queensland profession’s stand-out performers to be recognised. The Awards encourage and celebrate best practice, set the benchmark for standards in the industry and acknowledge high performance.
REIQ members and member agencies can nominate in a multitude of categories with some awards based on agency size and location. All sectors are represented, including residential and commercial sales and property management, buyer's agents, business brokers and auctioneers. There are also awards for multimedia, industry innovation and contributions to the community.
Winners in eligible categories will have the opportunity to be a finalist in the National Awards for Excellence (NAFE).
Key dates in 2026
- Qualifying period: 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026
- Awards nominations close: 12 July 2026
- Judging period: 27 July - 9 August 2026
- Finalist interviews (if applicable): 17-28 August 2026
- Auctioneer and Novice Auctioneer of the Year heats and finals: 1 September 2026
- Finalists advised: We anticipate finalists will be announced on 2 September 2026. This date may be subject to change.
- Awards presentation night: 31 October 2026, The Star Brisbane
